Bus Escorts
Scoil Mochua BOM is currently seeking new bus escorts to join our dedicated team. We are in search of friendly, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals who can assist our students in boarding and alighting the bus, as well as provide supervision during their journey. Our school caters to students aged 3 to 18 with physical disabilities, and we prioritise creating a safe and calm environment for their daily commute.
All applicants must adhere to the school's Garda Vetting procedures. Additionally, attendance at student-specific training sessions is mandatory to ensure the safety of each child on the buses. Bus escort contracts are renewed on a yearly basis, and they may be subject to changes throughout the school year due to modifications in bus routes. The working hours typically span from 7:00 am to 9:10 am and from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, although these hours are subject to change. The exact working hours will be confirmed upon offer of a bus route A panel of suitable applicants will be set up to fill any future vacancies that occur before June 2023.
